Coach Sean Crocker from Stuart Hall will be conducting a Boys Basketball Clinic on Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Crocker was named head boys’ varsity basketball coach at Stuart Hall School earlier this month. Crocker comes to Stuart Hall after spending the last nine years coaching college basketball and working to get student-athletes recruited. Last year, Crocker was an assistant at Washington & Lee University, helping to lead the Generals to a win over ODAC power Randolph Macon as well as two other teams that played postseason basketball.
Prior to his arrival in Lexington, Crocker was director of operations for the Hoop Group in Neptune, N.J. For the Hoop Group, he aided in running Elite camp, the top exposure basketball camp in the country, and organized and directed the Philly Hoop Group classic, a division one college tournament.
Before the move to New Jersey, Crocker spent five years teaching math at the Boston Latin School in Boston. BLS is the oldest secondary school in the country and is annually ranked by Newsweek in the top 25 in high schools.
While teaching at BLS, Crocker served as an assistant coach at Wheelock College, Framingham State University and Tufts University. Preceding his time at BLS, Sean was the graduate assistant coach at Tufts while receiving his Master’s in Education.
