Beginning Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, a new rate structure will take effect for the New Street Parking Garage. Patrons exiting the facility when the booth is unattended will be required to pay a $1 exit fee. Rates will be effective after 5:30 p.m. on weekdays, during weekends and holidays.
Patrons using the facility throughout the regular work week from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday will pay the normal rate based on the time they have parked in the garage.
When the booth is unattended and the gate is down, patrons will be required to stop at the machine, pay $1 using $1 bills, $5 bills, tokens, or quarters. The machine does not accept credit cards, large bills, or coins other than quarters.
