New Dominion Bookshop hosting author event with Claire Millikin, Alice Bailey on May 4

New Dominion BookshopNew Dominion Bookshop will host an evening of poetry and photography featuring poet and UVA faculty member Claire Millikin and photographer and UVA professor Alice Bailey on Saturday, May 4, from 7-8 p.m. This event is free to attend.

Millikin has been a faculty member at the University of Virginia since 2007. State Fair Animals, published by Unicorn Press, is her sixth book of poetry.

Bailey, an assistant professor of photography at the University of Virginia, lived for many years in Alaska, and still returns there each summer, where she continues to create work revealing the land and the people who live there.
