The University of Virginia football team is hosting a meet and greet.

Meet the Team Day for UVa. football is set for Sunday, Aug. 10, with players available for autographs and photos from 3-4:15 p.m.

Gates to Scott Stadium will open at 2 p.m. on Aug. 10.

“This is a day we look forward to every year,” Virginia coach Al Groh said. “It is one of the fun days where we get to spend some time with the fans who are so passionate about the Virginia program. It is a day to catch up with some old friends and make some new ones. It is a terrific experience for our players.”

Fans will also be able to pick up copies of the 2008 UVa. football schedule poster, schedule magnets and schedule cards. A kids’ zone on site will feature face-painting, inflatables, Cav Man and his horse, Sabre, the UVa. cheerleaders and more.
