Update: Lynchburg teen found safe; police had considered her ‘endangered’

Updated: Friday, 6:24 p.m. Jaylynn Leftwhich has been found and is safe, according to the Lynchburg Police Department.


The Lynchburg Police Department is attempting to locate a missing 13-year-old girl it considers “endangered.”

Jaylynn Leftwhich was reported missing this morning. It is unknown what she was wearing.

Due to her age and the circumstances of her disappearance, which have not been disclosed, she is considered endangered, according to the LPD.

Family members and law enforcement are extremely concerned for her health and safety.
