Local autism benefit

Chris Graham

Local musicians in the Valley have gathered to form a benefit show on behalf of Autism Speaks, a grassroots organization founded by grandparents of a child with autism.

Creeperfest is set for Saturday, Oct. 22, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at The Clocktower in Staunton.

All proceeds made go directly to Autism Speaks. Tickets are now on sale at Waynesboro Automotive for $10, tickets on sale at the door the day of the show are $15.

Autism Speaks is dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
