I am a 30-year veteran law enforcement official from another jurisdiction. I have no stake in the election. I will not be coming to work in Augusta County if a certain candidate wins. I have followed the candidates in social media and watched the forums. It is clear to me that Derek Almarode is the most experienced person running for Augusta County sheriff.
I have known Derek for many years. We have worked together on a number of projects when we were both K-9 handlers. If the citizens of Augusta wants someone who will work tirelessly for them. Someone who will manage an office with the utmost professionalism. Someone who will always have thier best interests in mind then I suggest they put a check mark next to the name Derek Almarode on the ballet in November.
