Le joins staff at Augusta Health

Chris Graham

Dr. Ngoc Le, a family practice physician, has joined Augusta Health Family Practice in Verona.  Dr. Le will see patients Tuesday through Friday from 8 am until 4:30 pm.

Augusta Health Family Practice-Verona is located at 1 Green Hills Drive, just off Route 11 in Verona.  The clinic phone number is 540.245.7425.

Dr. Le graduated from Union College in Schenectady, New York and received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.  She completed both her internship and her residency in Family Practice at Long Beach Medical Center in Long Beach, New York.  She is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.  Prior to coming to Augusta Health, Dr. Le was in private practice in Georgia and Virginia, and at Ft. Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia.  Her professional interests include Adolescent Medicine, Preventative Medicine and Women’s Health.

“I love my profession, and I love the work that I do for my patients,” says Dr. Le.  “I strive for a holistic approach to medicine, and I believe that empowering our patients through health education is an essential part of medical care.  In addition to treating their illnesses, one of my main goals is the encouragement of preventive health habits for adults and children as part of a family’s care.”

Dr. Le enjoys spending time with her family—which includes her husband and three boys—as well as traveling, reading, painting and photography.

Augusta Health is an independent, nonprofit community hospital with a mission to promote the health and well-being of our community through access to excellent care. In 2010, it was the only hospital in Virginia—and one of only 74 of the 5000 hospitals in the United States—to receive both the Patient Safety Excellence Award and the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence from HealthGrades.  These awards place Augusta Health in the top 5% of US hospitals for both patient safety and quality.
