The fourth annual Kid’s Fishing Day will be held Saturday, March 31 at Douthat State Park in Millboro, VA. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. at Camp Carson Picnic Shelter. Fishing will begin at 9 a.m. and last until noon. All participants must register.
Fishing is for children ages 12 and under. No permit or license is needed. A section of Wilson Creek will be marked for fishing. Registered participants will receive a door prize.
There is no fee to fish, however a $5 per vehicle parking pass is required. This event is a great opportunity to introduce kids to fishing.
