The Tim Kaine Senate campaign raised more than $3.7 million in the third quarter of 2024, a record-breaking amount, and has $7 million cash-on-hand.

The largest fundraising quarter for the Kaine campaign in 2024 was the third quarter and the hefty haul was fueled by his highest number of online donations in a quarter, with 43,401 individual donors.

The numbers represent Kaine’s best grassroots fundraising quarter ever, exceeding a record-breaking Q2. Sixty-six percent of donors were first-time donors, showing how grassroots donors want to send Kaine back to the U.S. Senate and the movement is growing.

Kaine marked his 30th year in public office in 2024.

“As we head into the homestretch with another record-breaking quarter, it’s more proof that Virginians know Tim is standing up for them in the U.S. Senate and fighting for reproductive freedom, reducing costs, and bringing good paying, high-quality jobs to the Commonwealth,” Keren Charles Dongo, Campaign Manager for Tim Kaine, said. “From the enthusiasm we see on the ground at our events to this record amount of grassroots support, it’s clear Virginians are fired up to re-elect Tim Kaine.

In the record-breaking quarter, the average online donation was $30. Of the 74,810 online contributions, 98 percent were for $100 or less.
