James Madison (1-1) will open its five-game football home slate this Saturday with a 4 p.m. kickoff against non-conference foe St. Francis (1-1) of the Northeast Conference. The Dukes came from behind to defeat the Red Flash, 24-17, in last year’s encounter, also played at Bridgeforth Stadium.
JMU coach Everett Withers previews the game.
Withers anticipates a heavy dose of the run from the Red Flash.
Withers has a challenge to the fans to come early and stay late when the Dukes are at Bridgeforth Stadium.
Saturday’s heat and humidity, during a 31-28 comeback win at Lehigh, proved that the Dukes are in good shape.
