Interstate 64 westbound rest area in Ivy to close March 8

interstate 64On Tuesday, the Charlottesville Safety Rest Area on Interstate 64 west at mile marker 113 (Ivy) in Albemarle County will be temporarily closed while crews finish the remaining repairs at the rest area entrance.

The rest area, including access to parking, restrooms, vending machines and picnic areas will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Travelers may use the Goochland Safety Rest Area on I-64 west, which is located at mile marker 168. On the eastbound side of I-64, the Charlottesville Safety Rest Area at mile marker 105 will remain accessible.
