Viewership

Out of the 15 most-watched TV show in the USA, the Super Bowl occupies 14 spots. The viewership varies from year to year. Even though the Super Bowl LIII was not that entertaining, the popularity is still present. More than 90 million people are watching the game every year.

Most Appearances

The teams with the most appearances at the Super Bowl are Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New England Patriots. The first three teams have an equal number of appearances (8), while the New England Patriots are dominating in the first place with 11 appearances.

On the other side, the only teams that have never participated in the Super Bowl are Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions, and Cleveland Browns.

Most Successful Teams

Green Bay Packers and New York Giants have won the Super Bowl 4 times. San Francisco 49ers have one championship more than the previous two teams (5). Dallas Cowboys also has 5 trophies in their cabinet. And finally, Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots are tied at the No.1 spot with 6 titles each. New England Patriots won the 2019 Super Bowl.

The least successful teams, on the other side, are Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Jets, Chicago Bears, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and New Orleans Saints. All of these franchises have won the Super Bowl just once.

Tickets and Advertising Price

Tickets for the Super Bowl are always sky-rocketing fast. They usually cost $3,000, but the price can change fast. Some of the tickets that were sold for the 2019 Super Bowl were as much as $100,000, which is insane.

Since millions of people are watching that game on a TV, you can be certain that the ad price will be tremendous. One unofficial information says that the ads during breaks cost around $5 million. The price is shocking, but because there are over 100 million viewers, for some companies, it is well worth it.
