In the spirit: Local author to present storytime with ‘The Four Santas’ Christmas book

Crystal Graham

Christmas book Barnes & Noble Local author and award-winning writer Liliane Fortna will be signing her new Christmas book on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Barnes & Noble in Charlottesville.

Her new book, The Four Santas, is an illustrated Christmas tale that explores the origin of Santa Claus, his mission to spread joy and love and the secret behind delivering gifts to children worldwide in just one night.

Fortna will take part in the book store’s weekly storytime and will share a Winter Wonderland holiday display with festive scenes to get the public in the spirit of the season.

“As much as I love writing about Santa and his magical world, I also love bringing that world to life for others to enjoy,” said Fortna. “Come in and explore the Winter Wonderland, and let’s celebrate the joy of Christmas together.”

The Four Santas: A Magical Christmas Story of Time, Toys, and Togetherness is recommended for young readers or anyone who believes in holiday magic.

Fluent in French and English, Fortna was born in Hanoi, Vietnam, and grew up in France. She has lived in Europe, Asia and the United States. She received her U.S. citizenship in 2016.

Barnes & Noble is located at 1035 Emmet St. in the Barracks Road Shopping Center.
