Henry County | Head-on crash kills 36-year-old Martinsville woman

A head-on collision in Henry County claimed the life of a 36-year-old woman from Martinsville on Monday.

Gloria Jaan Narsis Bednorski died at the scene; she was traveling in the wrong lane when the crash occurred.

According to Virginia State Police, Bednorski’s Honda Civic was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of Stultz Road at 7:50 p.m. last night.

Bednorski’s vehicle struck a Chevrolet Tahoe head on, one tenth of a mile east of Virginia Avenue.

The driver of the Tahoe was not identified; it is unknown if there were any injuries sustained.

The two-vehicle crash remains under investigation.
