Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce presents women’s power conference

Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of CommerceThe Women of Influence Network Summit will take place at Mary Baldwin University on Tuesday, April 24th from 11:30 pm – 5:00 pm.

The conference, presented by the Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce, includes a keynote presentation, workshops and a wine social to end the day. In addition, a trade show featuring local organizations and businesses provides the backdrop for the activity of the conference.

Session highlights include:

  • Keynote presentation: ​Becoming a Woman of Influence​; Christine Kennedy, IOM, CPC, ELI-MP, Chief Operating Officer & Executive Vice President, Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance
  • Session:​ Freedom from Danger and Harm​; Lisa Kara, Associate Professor, Administration of Justice, Blue Ridge Community College and Sgt. Katie Shifflett, Crime Prevention Unit, Staunton Police Department
  • Panel Discussion:​ Purposeful and Powerful Leadership ​with panel experts: Dr. Pamela Fox, President, Mary Baldwin University, Honorable Linda Schorsch Jones, Waynesboro & Augusta Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, and Rebecca Polan, CEO, REO Logistics
