Beth Bland, HR RD, spoke to the Golden Agers about VPAS services offered in HR on March 26. This group meets on a monthly basis at St. James United Methodist Church in Harrisonburg and has existed for over 20 years. Approximately 50% of the members do not attend the hosting church.
Most of the attendees had heard of VPAS but were not familiar with the multitude of services offered. The presentation included discussion about volunteer opportunities. The group was very engaged and asked many of questions.
