Blue Ridge Community College is offering a class for experienced motorcyclists next month.

The Saturday, June 14 class will begin at 8:30 a.m. on the Weyers Cave campus of BRCC. The class will teach advanced learning techniques and give participants a chance to practice several street-riding strategies.

The class is cosponsored by the BRCC Workforce Services and Continuing Education Division and the Virginia Rider Training Program. Many insurance companies offer discounts to customers who complete the course.

Participants must hold a valid motorcycle license and provide motorcycle, three-quarter or full-face helmet, proof of insurance coverage and protective clothing. Parental permission is required for students under age 18

Pre-registration (including payment of the $50 fee) is required.
