Game Notes: #6 UVA basketball dominates Harvard

• Harvard’s one first-half field goal Sunday at UVA in the 76-27 Virginia win tied the NCAA record for fewest made field goals in a half in the shot clock era (Savannah State, one second-half field goal at Kansas State on Jan. 7, 2008)

• Harvard’s 16 percent (8-50) from the floor was the lowest FG percentage by a Virginia opponent (previous low was 19 percent by Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 8, 2012)
• Harvard’s eight first-half points is the fewest first-half points allowed by Virginia in the shot clock era (breaking the mark of Clemson’s 10 first-half points on Feb. 7, 2013)
• The eight points allowed matches Virginia’s fewest points allowed in any half in the shot clock era (tying Rutgers’ eight second-half points earlier this season)
• Harvard’s 27 points are the second-fewest allowed by Virginia in the shot clock era (26 by Rutgers earlier this season)
