Frontier Aircraft PhotoFrontier Airlines is suspending its service from Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport to Orlando, Fla., beginning April 7.

The news was announced on the SHD Facebook page. The news brief attributed the suspension to demand for air travel to Florida slowing during the summer months.

“Community response to Frontier Airlines seasonal service from the Shenandoah Valley to Orlando has been tremendous,” SHD said in the news brief.

The brief noted that the airport expects the Frontier service to return next fall.
