Freedom Fund Banquet to support Albemarle-Charlottesville NAACP

newspaperThe Albemarle-Charlottesville branch of the NAACP will host its annual Freedom Fund Banquet on Friday, September 16, at the Charlottesville Doubletree Hotel (990 Hilton Heights Road, Charlottesville.

The Freedom Fund Banquet is the major fundraising event for all branches of the NAACP. Money raised allows the NAACP to offer valuable workshops, scholarships and activities for youth and adult memberships.

Donations also make it possible for the branch to have representation at state, regional and national conferences where members receive important information and training that promote civil rights and justice for all.

The doors open at 5:45 PM.
