Election 2024: Sen. Kaine to visit Staunton, Waynesboro on Saturday

U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine will be in Staunton and Waynesboro on Saturday for a pair of campaign events.

The Staunton Democratic Committee will host a gathering to kick off the fall 2024 campaign. Kaine, who celebrates 30 years of serving in elected office this year, is running for re-election to the U.S. Senate in November’s election.

Kaine will be speak and take questions from constituents from 10 a.m. to noon at Staunton Democratic Committee Headquarters, 240 N. Central Ave., Suite 1, Staunton.

Participants are encouraged to bring an umbrella.

Kaine launched his Standing Up for Virginia tour in Staunton in April.

He will be at Basic City Beer in Waynesboro from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and constituents are encouraged to come hang out with him and hear how he is Standing Up for Virginia.
