A group of state AGs, led by New York Attorney General Letitia James, is taking legal action against the Trump/Musk administration over DOGE.

The suit, filed in federal court in New York, was joined by a total of 19 state AGs, all Democrats – Republican AGs like Jason Miyares, the Virginia attorney general, seem perfectly fine with Elon Musk and his minions accessing sensitive data without proper authorization.

Miyares, you need to know, is running for re-election in the 2025 cycle.

We can presume that a second four-year term for him would translate into more inaction on, if not actual encouragement of, the unconstitutional incursion into the federal Treasury led by Musk and his team of neo-Nazi hackers.

“As the richest man in the world, Elon Musk is not used to being told ‘no,’ but in our country, no one is above the law,” James said in a statement on Friday.

You remember Letitia James: she’s the AG who won a $450 million judgment against Trump in a civil fraud trial early last year.

She’s also Black – Trump fired back at her effort to hold him accountable by labeling her a “racist,” because of course he did.

This same Trump, in a similar vein, is firing back at an effort by the South African government to take land from White colonizers who control the bulk of the supermajority Black country’s land holdings, a relic of the apartheid era that Elon Musk, a neo-Nazi South African immigrant, is so fond of.

Trump issued an executive order on Friday cutting off $440 million in aid to South Africa’s AIDS/HIV prevention program.

The reason: South Africa has been “treating certain classes of people VERY BADLY.”

“Certain classes of people.”

Translation: White people who continue to benefit from racist policies that were supposedly put in the rear view 30 years ago.

This is the Trump/Musk that is illegally rummaging through your data.

“President Trump does not have the power to give away Americans’ private information to anyone he chooses, and he cannot cut federal payments approved by Congress,” James said on Friday.

“Musk and DOGE have no authority to access Americans’ private information and some of our country’s most sensitive data. I am taking action to keep our information secure, and to prevent any unconstitutional freeze on essential funding that Americans rely on every day,” James said.

James and the AG coalition won the first battle in this fight. U.S. District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer issued a preliminary injunction early Saturday blocking Musk and his stooges from from accessing Treasury Department records, ahead of a hearing set for next week.

The decision also ordered Musk and his incels to “immediately destroy any and all copies of material downloaded from the Treasury Department’s records and systems, if any.”
