DDP: CM Punk will be at WrestleMania 30

Chris Graham

cmpunkDiamond Dallas Page isn’t claiming any inside information, just his gut instinct, in saying that he thinks CM Punk will make a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 30 on Sunday.

“I think Punk’s awesome, and he could write his own ticket right now, but he needs time down. Will we see him come back for ‘Mania? I believe so,” Page told WrestleTalk TV.

DDP will be a part of WrestleMania weekend in New Orleans. On Saturday night, he will induct Jake the Snake Roberts into the WWE Hall of Fame.

So maybe he does have inside knowledge. Or he’s speaking on behalf of WWE creative to plant the idea that Punk may appear with fans who clearly would love to see Punk return, whether or not Punk is actually going to return this weekend, or ever.

Or …

This is wrestling. We could speculate on this forever.

“I think he will come back, but I have seen those things like when Brian Pillman left WCW, it was a work across the board, it became a shoot,” Page said.
