A leading manufacturers of printers announced on Monday that it will set up its U.S. sales headquarters in Downtown Waynesboro.

DASCOM Americas will market a full range of serial impact, thermal, mobile, and passbook printers under the “Tally” and “Tally Dascom” brand names. The products, with the complete suite of printer solutions, including consumables, spares and service, will be sold and marketed through DASCOM Americas and its select group of channel partners in North and South America.

These partners will be carefully selected to provide the best in product marketing, applications management, post sale service technical support, and customer satisfaction.

“We are very pleased with the progress of our globalization plan with the new establishment of our Americas sales headquarters in Virginia,” said Cheung Ho Chi, chairman of DASCOM Group. “The Americas is a key geographical area of focus as it is a potential growth region for our range of products. Similar to our European and Asia Pacific strategy, the new DASCOM Americas team is made up of printer professionals with long-established years of experience in the printing solutions market. The dynamic focus and expertise to continue serving this service-oriented transaction printing market is well preserved and will be executed with similar intensity. The new set-up in North and South America will take our globalization steps to greater heights.”

DASCOM Americas offer computer printers, supplies and services for commercial and industrial application under the brands “Tally” and “Tally Dascom.” The products are designed to meet the high duty requirements in market segments such as transportation, logistics, production, warehousing, trade and health care.
