Congressman McEachin announces $100,000+ grant award for HIV/STD prevention

Congressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) announced a grant award to the Virginia Department of Health from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for school-based HIV/STD prevention in adolescents for $100,000.

“We all know the best cure for any disease is prevention. I am so glad to see an investment of funds into Virginia to help our teenagers understand how they can protect themselves from HIV and STDs,” said Congressman Donald McEachin. “This knowledge could literally save lives.”
