Congestion on Route 29, Route 56 in Nelson County due to Lockn’ Music Festival

Chris Graham

road-work-headerCongestion on Routes 29, 56 and local roads in the Arrington area of Nelson County is creating issues today. Virginia State Police, Virginia Department of Transportation, Nelson County officials and Lockn’ Music Festival organizers are working together to clear traffic and to stage vehicles on festival grounds as quickly and safely as possible.

The event was scheduled to open yesterday; however, it was delayed and, as a result arrivals increased this morning from the pace of the last several years.

Motorists are urged to use caution and be alert to the changes in traffic pattern and the possibility of slow or stopped vehicles.
