Community meeting on Route 29 Solutions hosted by Albemarle County, VDOT

Chris Graham

route 29 solutionsThe Route 29 Solutions projects will improve safety and mobility in the area, but what will happen during construction? Over the coming weeks, you will notice increased construction activity as several projects begin.

VDOT and the County are working hard to ensure you know what to expect throughout construction and stay updated on how to safely reach all of your destinations in the corridor. To that end, they will be hosting a Community Meeting onTuesday, September 15, 2015 from 5:30 – 7:30pm at Jack Jouett Middle School. This Community Meeting will share information on the projects, timelines, and on how the County is working to address project impacts on neighborhoods and ensure public safety during the construction period.

Representatives from VDOT and Albemarle County Police, Fire Rescue, Public Schools Transportation, and Community Development will be available to respond to your questions. Can’t make it? Contact Emily Kilroy at[email protected] for copies of materials. Visit www.Route29Solutions.org for project information. Visitwww.albemarle.org/rt29 for neighborhood resources.
