Christmas Celebration with Richard Adams

The Man of Many Talents, Richard Adams, has stuffed his Christmas Variety Show stocking with talents known and unknown.  The Friday, December 14th performance will is from 7:30 to 9 pm at WTA’s Gateway at 329 West Main in Downtown Waynesboro.

The show features Kathy Walton LaFon singing her lovely renditions of Christmas Classics while accompanying herself on piano.

By popular demand “Arrow” the HULA HOOPER returns to the Gateway Stage to Hoop to Christmas Classics.  If you missed her in her debut in November this is a chance to see her amazing skills in action again.

New to the Richard Adams Variety show is The Basic City Tuba Choir.  This award-winning ensemble will perform the Top 8 hits from the T.U.B.A. (Tubist Universal Brotherhood Association) Christmas Songbook.  The Basic City Tuba Choir consist of Robert Harrold, Eric Goode, David May and Richard Adams, all noted performers on the ancient instrument.

Local Singer and Theatre Star Sandi Belcher will also be singing a few holiday tunes to brighten the season.

In keeping with the tradition of the Richard Adams Variety Show, audience members will have an opportunity to show their skills.  The December contest is “You Can Do Your Best HO HO HO” with appropriate prizes for the winner.

The mystery guest of the months will be featured on “You Can Be On A Talk Show”.

As always, Bill Martin will dazzle as co-host and there may be a possible Santa sighting.

Doors open at 7:00 pm for the 7:30 performance of The Richard Adams Variety Show.

Advanced tickets are $9.99.  They may be purchased at WTA’s office (533 West Main) or by calling 540-943-9999.  Remaining tickets will be available on the evening of the performance for $12.
