Charlottesville trolley detours for UVA football

charlottesville area transit2Due to the UVA game against Pitt on Saturday, October 4, Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) will detour the FREE Trolley. Bus stops along Alderman Road, McCormick Road, and portions of Jefferson Park Avenue will not be served.  The detour will begin at 5:30 PM and continue through the remainder of the evening.  Kickoff is scheduled for7:30 PM.

During the detour, the FREE Trolley will follow Jefferson Park Avenue to Emmet Street where it will travel north until it reaches University Avenue.  The FREE Trolley will turn right onto University Avenue where it will resume its normal route path.

This detour path will be repeated for all home UVA football games.  This includes the 10/25 game against North Carolina and the 11/22 game against Miami.
