Charlottesville community invited to enjoy ‘Ice Cream with a Cop’

charlottesville ice cream with a copThe Charlottesville Police Department along with the Charlottesville Police Foundation are inviting all ages to enjoy “Ice Cream with a Cop,” a free community outreach event that takes place at various city parks and neighborhoods throughout the next few weeks of summer.

Come enjoy a tasty frozen treat from Kona Ice while engaging in good conversation and building positive relationships with your local law enforcement.

“Ice Cream with a Cop” is schedule from 11am to 1 pm over the next few weeks at the following locations:

  • 6/16/18 – Washington Park
  • 6/30/18 – West Haven Community (new location this year!)
  • 7/07/18 – Carlton Mobile Home Park
  • 7/14/18 – Friendship Court
  • 7/21/18 – 900 1st Street South
