The Waynesboro School Board announced the appointment of Bryan Stamm as assistant principal at Westwood Hills Elementary School at its Tuesday, August 12, School Board Meeting.
Stamm has a bachelor of science in education from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and a master of educational leadership and policy studies from University of Texas-Arlington. Prior to coming to Waynesboro, Mr. Stamm was employed by Augusta County Schools for seven years as a U.S. history/government teacher.
“Westwood Hills Elementary School is fortunate to have Mr. Stamm join our staff. He brings a great deal of instructional expertise, as well as a love for children. His knowledge of teaching and learning make him an ideal addition to our staff. He will also be an excellent role model for our students,” said Renae Deffenbaugh, principal of Westwood Hills Elementary School.
Dr. Jeffrey Cassell, superintendent, stated, “Mr. Stamm, along with Mrs. Deffenbaugh, will provide a strong leadership and instructional team for the students, staff, and parents of the Westwood Hills community. We are excited about the skills and expertise each of them will share.”
Stamm and his family reside in Waynesboro.
