BRITE bus offering free rides on Election Day in Staunton, Waynesboro, Augusta County

BRITE Bus will be offering free rides on most routes on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The offer will not apply to the Afton Express route.

BRITE bus routes serve many voting locations in Staunton, Waynesboro and Augusta County.

The bus is ADA compliant.

BRITE Bus is administered by the Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission with assistance from the transit advisory committee.

Crystal Abbe Graham is the regional editor of Augusta Free Press. A 1999 graduate of Virginia Tech, she has worked for 25 years as a reporter and editor for several Virginia publications, written a book, and garnered more than a dozen Virginia Press Association awards for writing and graphic design.
