Bridgewater baseball finishes season in Top 25

bridgewater logoThe Bridgewater College baseball team was ranked in the Top 25 in a pair of season-ending polls released today.

The Eagles were ranked No. 19 by D3baseball.com and No. 23 in the Collegiate Baseball News/ABCA poll.

Bridgewater finished its season with a loss to Emory University in the title game of the Division III South Regional tournament. Emory went on to play in the national championship game where it lost to Wisconsin-Whitewater.

The Eagles finished the year with a 36-14 overall record and the program’s 14th Old Dominion Athletic Conference baseball championship. The 36 victories is a new program record for wins in a season.
