To protect and preserve this special place requires an exceptional group of dedicated individuals working together to keep the Parkway maintained and running smoothly. Every year, the Parkway hires a group of full-time temporary employees to assist with maintenance during the busiest seasons (May through September). These individuals perform a variety of duties including mowing, string trimming, tree clearing and custodial services.
The Parkway is seeking qualified maintenance workers at the Peaks of Otter (Bedford), James River (Big Island) and Montebello (Vesuvius) areas.
