Big fourth pushes Baltimore to blowout win

A six-run fourth keyed an 11-2 Baltimore Orioles win at Tampa Bay Tuesday night.

Chris Davis (.229/.340/.486, 35 HR, 78 RBI), Manny Machado (.306/.358/.565, 34 HR, 90 RBI) and Adam Jones (.278/.317/.463, 26 HR, 77 RBI) each homered for the O’s.

Machado was 3-for-6 at the plate with five RBIs.

Yovani Gallardo (5-7, 5.44 ERA, 1.60 WHIP) got the win, giving up two runs, one earned, on five hits in five innings, striking out five and walking one.

Baltimore (76-62) is a game and a half back of Toronto in the AL East, and has a half-game lead on Detroit for the second AL wild-card spot.
