Bedford County: One fatality in single-vehicle crash on Bold Branch Road

A 30-year-old Bedford man died after a single-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Bedford County.

Tyrin Deshane Martin, 30, died at the scene, according to Virginia State Police.

The crash took place at 9 p.m. on Bold Branch Road, three quarters of a mile south of Blue Sky Drive.

According to VSP, a 1991 Chevrolet C-15, driven by Martin, was traveling south on Bold Branch Road, when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Martin was not wearing his seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.
