Bedford County: Crash on Route 460 kills 46-year-old Montvale man

One man is dead following a single-vehicle crash on Route 460 Thursday night in Bedford County.

Lloyd Nelson Furrow, 46, of Montvale, died at the scene.

Virginia State Police is investigating the crash that occurred Dec. 19 at 10:53 p.m., one quarter mile west of Camp Jaycee Road.

Furrow was traveling east on Route 460, when his vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, down an embankment and overturned.

Furrow was not wearing his seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation, according to VSP.
