AWE superstars to show off skills at Waynesboro Y

Superstars from Awesome Wrestling Entertainment will make an appearance at the Waynesboro YMCA for Friday Night Basketball Friday night at 9:30 p.m.

Short Sleeve Sampson and Robotron will lead a pep rally at the Y with free tickets for the teens and some demonstrations of live wrestling along with some breakdancing from Robotron.

Awesome Wrestling Entertainment is hosting a live event at Waynesboro High School on Saturday, Feb. 5, beginning at 6 p.m. with an autograph session with AWE stars including Carlito and Jimmy Wang Yang from WWE’s “Raw” and “Smackdown” and TNA star Sonjay Dutt. The live wrestling begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $10. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the establishment of a scholarship at Waynesboro High School in memory of the late Mel Morris, the longtime athletics director at WHS.
