Augusta Health employees earn certifications in areas of expertise

During the second quarter, 2012, sixteen Augusta Health employees earned national certifications in their areas of expertise.  These certifications require demonstration of extensive knowledge in a subject area, usually by examination.

We encourage national certifications because the high level of knowledge and professional skill required by certification translates to improved quality and service to our patients and community. We also appreciate each employee’s commitment—these certifications are not easy to earn.  They represent a significant investment of personal time and a personal drive for excellence,” says Mary N.
