A Culpeper County man is dead after an accident early Wednesday morning on Interstate 64 in Augusta County.

Gabe L. Frye, 26, of the community of Boston, Va., was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

Virginia State Police report the single-vehicle fatal crash occurred at 12:25 a.m. on I-64 westbound at the 98 mile marker.

Frye’s Chevrolet Silverado truck was in the right lane when it went off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned multiple times.

Frye was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck.
