Augusta County Sheriff’s Office investigating destruction of property at Swannanoa

Swannanoa 4The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Sept. 8 property-crime incident at the Swannanoa Country Club.

On Tuesday sometime after 10 p.m., unknown person or persons took approximately six golf carts from the club.  The golf carts were later located on the property.  The carts were vandalized and greens and fencing on the golf course were also destroyed.

The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify the owners of the vehicles shown in the picture attached picture.  If you have information regarding the vehicle owners; the two white pickups or the camouflage painted smaller truck you are asked to call the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office at (540)245-5333 or Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at 1-800-322-2017.
