Augusta County: Outdoor music, artisan festival on tap Saturday at Alpine Goat Brewery

The Alpine Goat Brewery in Weyers Cave presents its first outdoor music and artisan festival, Rhythm & Brews on the Farm, on Saturday, May 31.

The festival, co-presented by Holding All the Roses, will feature craft beer, wine and cider. It runs from noon to 10 p.m. Rain or shine. All ages are welcome.

Entry to the event is $10 per vehicle.

Curated by local songwriter Rebecca Porter, founder of Holding All The Roses, and The Alpine Goat Brewery staff, this brand-new festival brings together original music and a marketplace of regional vendors.

The Alpine Goat Brewery will be pouring craft beer, wine and cider and will have two food trucks on-site.

From front porch pickin’ to dance-floor shakers, Rhythm & Brews on the Farm features a lineup including:

  • The Ridge Ramblers (old-time) – From the Shenandoah Valley, this fresh trio blends bluegrass, old-time, and country with dynamic harmonies.
  • Roots Revival Roadshow (African American folk) – A soulful, storytelling-driven collective bringing blues, rock and folk together in tribute to Black musical traditions.
  • Ramona & the Holy Smokes (original honky tonk) – Led by Ramona Martinez, this five-piece band delivers original tunes that feel like a love letter to vintage country.
  • Uncle Bengine & the Restraining Orders (garage country) – A little punk, a little mountain grit—this high-energy band mixes basement-born rock with Shenandoah roots.
  • Rebecca Porter (Appalachian country) – Rebecca Porter and her band the Rhinestone Roses bring stories of strength and soul, wrapped in twang and truth. Fresh off national acclaim, this finale is not to be missed.

In addition to live music and craft beer, festival-goers can shop from a curated selection of regional makers and small businesses including:

  • Cookie Palette – Custom sugar cookies, cupcakes & cakes
  • Dart Resale & Trade – Modern and vintage secondhand clothing
  • Frozen Harvest – Veteran-owned freeze-dried candy, fruit and snacks
  • Joyful Stitches by Amanda – Hand-crocheted accessories and home goods
  • Little Leaf Booksellers – Pre-loved and indie books for all ages
  • Reclothe VA – Vintage and secondhand clothing and accessories
  • Walton Wear Tie Dye – Custom and pre-made tie dye apparel

The Alpine Goat Brewery is located three miles off Interstate 81 at at 212 Chapel Hill Lane in Weyers Cave.
