Update: Craigsville woman, children located

Update: Monday, 10:10 p.m. Desirae Sherwood and her children have been located. No further details are being released at this time.

 

Original story: Monday, 5:02 p.m. The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance with locating a missing Craigsville woman and her two children, ages 5 and 1.

Desirae G. Sherwood, 25, was supposed to be en route to her Craigsville home after dropping off a man at his Dayton home.

Sherwood and her two children, Grace Washington, 5, and Violet Washington, 1, were last seen/heard from Sunday night at approximately 11:30 p.m.

Sherwood was driving a dark green 2006 GMC Envoy, with 30-day tags.
