Augusta County Economic Development will hold a Site Development Workshop focused on teaching strategies and tips to develop Augusta County property in today’s economic climate.
The property that will be focused on is industrial-zoned or planned for industrial use in the Augusta County comprehensive plan, and the workshop is primarily intended for owners and brokers of these properties.
Featured speakers include Draper Aden Associates, a consulting and engineering firm, and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, the state’s economic development organization. Augusta County Economic Development works regularly with both organizations in assessing and marketing Augusta County sites.
Attendees will hear information on current prospect processes, site development and tools to prepare for properties to be project-ready. Panelists will share front-line stories demonstrating the requirements and demands of prospects and site selectors when considering properties.
The Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, August 29 from 2:00p.m.-3:30p.m. at the Augusta County Government Center in the Smith’s Transfer Meeting Room East.
