Albemarle County: Suspect at large after armed robbery in Pantops Shopping Center

A suspect remains at large as police investigate an armed robbery in the Pantops Shopping Center in Albemarle County this morning.

Albemarle County Police remain on scene interviewing witnesses, reviewing surveillance footage and collecting evidence.

No injuries have been reported.

No description of a suspect has been provided at this time.

Pantops Shopping Center is home to Aaron’s, Food Lion, jiffy lube, Cricket Wireless and numerous other businesses. It has not been announced where the alleged armed robbery occurred.
