Albemarle County | Fire to Premier Circle building extinguished early this morning

A fire in the 400 block of Premier Circle is under investigation by the Albemarle County Fire Marshal’s Office.

Fire Rescue units responded to the building at 5:40 a.m. Saturday morning. When the fire unit arrived, smoke and flames were visible from the front of the building.

The fire was extinguished approximately two hours later.

The building was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire does not appear suspicious in nature, according to ACFR.
