Preview: The Mustangs look to move to a perfect 3-0 to begin the season with what would be a first-ever win over BYU. The Cougars have won all four previous meetings against SMU, including the 2022 New Mexico Bowl. Brashard Smith ran for 108 yards in SMU’s win over Houston Christian – he is one of six players to break the 100-yard threshold in the ACC this season. The win over Houston Christian moved the Mustangs to 11-1 in their last 12 games. SMU has won nine consecutive games at home, marking the fourth-longest home winning streak in program history. BYU kicked off its season with a 41-13 win over Southern Illinois after going 5-7 (2-7 Big 12) in 2023.

Duke at Northwestern

Series: Duke leads series, 13-10

Last meeting: Duke, 38-14 (2023)

FS1: Connor Onion (play-by-play), Mark Helfrich (analyst)

School Radio Feed: Duke

SiriusXM Radio: SiriusXM 84 / SiriusXM 108 / SiriusXM 194

SiriusXM App: SiriusXM 84 / SiriusXM 956

Preview: Duke’s defense was the bright spot in the Blue Devils’ 26-3 win over Elon in Week 1. The Blue Devils recorded 8.0 sacks and 16 tackles-for-loss to pace the way for the season-opening victory. Duke also held Elon scoreless for the first 59:46 of the season opener before the Phoenix connected on a 39-yard field goal with 14 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Over the past 10+ seasons, Duke has posted a 23-3 record in non-conference games and looks to improve upon that mark on Friday. Northwestern kicked off its 2024 slate with a 13-6 win over Miami (Ohio) at home. The Wildcats went 8-5 in 2023 and capped the season off with a Las Vegas Bowl victory over Ohio.
