No matter where you want to pop the question at any of the Disney parks, you need to be prepared ahead of time. You will already be nervous enough as the time ticks by before the big moment, so make sure you’re as prepared as possible. The setting, the lighting, the ring, and everything should be carefully choreographed to create the magic and wonder. Before you ask your beloved to marry you, consider these tips to make your Disney proposal go as smoothly as possible.

Pick Your Spot

Whether you want to do it in front of the castle or pick a romantic spot deep in the Epcot world showcase, pick your spot ahead of time and have some back up plans ready just in case. Disney can be busy, so you may not be able to edge your way in to exactly the perfect photo op when you pop the question.

That said, many people will quickly realize what’s happening and move out of the way to accommodate. Planning ahead can help you spot the breaks in the crowd and take your moment.

Have Your Ring Ready

Don’t wait too late to get your ring for your beloved. The ring is the most important accessory to this event. If you plan to design and create a ring just for your fiancé, order your diamond early enough to get the ring made before your trip to Disney.

When traveling with an engagement ring, keep it safe. The best place to keep it on your person, so make sure you have a pocket that can hold the ring without the risk of it getting lost.

Go with the Flow

Be prepared with any sort of plan B. You may have this amazing experience in mind but find that your perfect spot is overwhelmed with tourists who don’t seem to get the hint that you’re waiting for something important.

You may also have technical difficulties or your beloved may drag you around the park without realizing you have plans. Just let it happen. It will be beautiful no matter what. If you get caught up in the perfection, you may miss out on something incredible.

Work with a Disney Proposal Planner

There is amazing news. You do not have to do any of this planning or execution on your own. Disney offers an incredible service of a personalized proposal planner to help you make this once in a lifetime experience happen without a hitch.

While the service can certainly be pricey, if money is no object don’t settle for trying to put it together yourself. You’ll already be nervous enough, so let someone else do all the work for you.

Whether it’s spontaneous or well planned, your Disney proposal will be a magical experience for you and your fiancé. You will get out of it what you put in, so take some time to consider your options and create your plan and an alternative plan just in case. You and your beloved deserve only the best that Disney has to offer.
