16-year-old Richmond juvenile arrested in homicide on Magnolia Street

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in the murder of a Richmond man who was found outside on the ground on Magnolia Street.

Daniel Gainyard III, 37, was found with a gunshot wound on Tuesday at 10:27 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The juvenile, also from Richmond, was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a minor.
